The final push to Wanaka – July 19

Mountain Biking trails in Geraldine … but someone left the ‘mount’ out of mountain biking on these trails – flat as a pancake.

Stunning scenery at Lake Tekapo. We visited the cute stone church built in the 1800s besides the lake unfortunately having to share it with a load of Asian bus tourists.

My gorgeous daughter on the dam at Lake Ruataniwha.

The boys climbing McKenzie Hills

Lindis Pass

Snow in the Gumboots: Monica rescuing Marco from his frost bitten toes.

Made Wanaka!  We finally met our incredible host and above is a photo of our luxurious digs for a week.  The cupboards have been stocked with a weeks worth of food and Italian chef was to arrive at 6pm.  I’m not sure what I did to deserve all this, but I’m not complaining!!!
