Well, in Waikuku, it has been turned into a shopping centre, still complete with school yard bike stands, four square grids and play ground.
The Headmaster’s office is now a cafe and the dental nurse’s building (aka murder house) is now home to a physiotherapist called Dexterity.
With so much of the character that summarises most kiwi kids school experience, this makes for a seriously nostalgic shopping experience!
What a good idea for a disused school. Readymade little village!!
